SPARK OF HOPE
Written by: Ayesha Asif
Life needs
a hope, a single one might be,
And that
hope needs another hope.
Extemporaneous
efforts, untouched, unrehearsed with desultory,
Cantankerous,
unhappy, unsatisfied, annoyed.
Annoyed
from being hopeless?
Hopes are
born, constructed, created…
One strives
with thunder to gain hope.
Galumph,
move, further, ahead faster,
Towards
your ease with filled jars of motivation.
Intrinsically,
being attentive to that spark,
That spark,
you always had worked for!
Unpredictable
things would take your way,
Would adopt
protagonist role,
in the
untold episode of your story,
Would try
even harder to make you fall,
To make you
surrender towards your fate!
These joys
were only temporary,
So were the
sorrows you had.
The globe,
keeping you in that undefined circle,
Compelling
you, to move around and around,
Pushing,
like you were a compulsory part.
Like you
were a dream that never diminishes,
As if these
dreams must always be centralized!
That story,
words, emotions weren’t finished,
Scratched,
untold and stayed incomplete.
Producing
hope, like growing colorful flowers,
in the
barren field or in the garden of your story.
Coloring
life with the colors of hope,
Adding some
more colors, few more desires.
With strong
intentions and powerful spark of hope.
That hope,
witnessed in those eyelids,
Present in that
heart like a behest!
You weren’t
tucked in that globe,
You were
there to find your way, your option,
And your
ray of hope!
