Tears fall like autumn rain
As I lament the love in vain
Memories of what could never be
Haunt me, a bittersweet melody
In sorrow's dark and endless night
I search for stars that shone so bright
But like fallen leaves, they're lost from
sight
Leaving only sorrow's bitter light
The wind whispers secrets in my ear
Of what could've been, of what I'll never
hear
A gentle breeze that brings me pain
Reminding me of love's sweet refrain
I lament the past, the present too
For all the moments I'll never renew
But in the silence, I'll hold on tight
To memories that shine like stars in
night.
